This was a simple test using a Nikon D300 mounted on a standard tripod in hopes of visually demonstrating some of the effects of tweaking ISO and/or Exposure settings.
The sequence of photos were taken in roughly a 5-10 minute timespan just before the sun went down for the day.
ISO information is posted below each image but if you would like to see more information about various camera settings, simply move your mouse over the large photo and select "Info" to display Exif Data on each shot. Additionally, if you want to get a real close-up of the impact in terms of Noise and/or color washout, etc. you can select Large or Original from the sizing options.
PLEASE NOTE: Results can very dramatically between brands of cameras (Camera vs Nikon etc) as well as models (Nikon D70 vs Nikon D300 etc) so in a future gallery I will attempt to setup a few more test cases to visually show this as well.
Hope it helps....clem
